The Power of a Story…
Through writing, I can reach readers on an emotional level, creating a deeper visual and intimate bond. People remember heroes like Frodo Baggins, but forget many important facts that led to destroying the ring. People forget facts in life, but mixing them in an epic adventure will give the reader a hero to inspire and connect on a memorable level. Some of the best stories have lived throughout the generations and are considered timeless. These are the type of stories I aim to duplicate. I want the reader to lose themselves in the words and breathlessly await the conclusions that offer no easy answers. This is life.
The Power of a Story…
The story of life has shaped our lives. The same can be said about a powerful story that a reader connects to on a emotional level. The power of a story is, the overwhelming urge to bring magical worlds to life. The stupendous process of thoughts being translated at the speed of my fingers clinking at the keyboard. Treading in the world of my imagination is an adrenaline rush. Words can become magic and will always have a constant effect on readers. We write to share hopes dreams, and the struggle that defines us in the end. Its about rising up to face our fears, and the drive to get back up after countless falls. Its love — hate– faith — fear — and everything in-between. Writing is an intimate process into our dreams and hearts. Stories encapsulate events that contain information, wisdom, truth, and challenges that test our emotions. I write to clear my head and get this hurricane of adventures out in the open. If eyes are the window to the soul, then perhaps, words are the sparkle that illuminates from it? Stories burn like fire. And together they burn like the shining stars above. I always wanted to be a writer. My own imagination was second to none. Most saw a broom stick, I saw a sword. Some saw a dark forest, I saw an adventure. Some people read to get away from the world, I read stories to live adventures in my own mind. I hope you’ll begin with a spin in the world of my creation. Everything will defy explanation.
